Far Infrared Ray Heating 10 Top Benifits of F.I.R. treatment
1. Unlike traditional forms of heat therapy that waste heat by only reaching the surface of the skin, Far Infrared Ray Heat penetrates up to 2 inches into your muscles and bones.
2. Far Infrared Rays heat therapy is the most beneficial natural remedy for chronic pain. It has been studied and proven more effective than ingested medicine such as Ibuprofen and Acetaminophen on lower back pain treatment.
3. By heating the tissues, the Far Infrared Rays heat therapy wrap works at a cellular level and dilates the blood vessels which increase the flow of oxygenated blood. It also flushes away lactic acids that cause harmful toxin build-ups in the blood.
4. The Far Infrared Rays heat therapy wrap allows its users to choose heat as preferred, unlike conventional heat therapy such as microwave gels and chemical heat packs that only emit a constant temperature. This is a vital property since the most efficient temperature for heat therapy to take effect is 105 °F.
5. The Far Infrared Rays heat therapy wrap can be used as treatment and rehabilitation for a wide array of discomforts, such as muscle spasms, arthritis, joint stiffness, whiplash, and headaches. It is also effective for sports or work-related injuries such as pinched nerves, tendonitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, and ruptured discs.
6. Far Infrared Rays activate and ionize water molecules that compose 90% of our body mass. These resonate to a number of health benefits.
7. Because it is deep penetrating, Far Infrared Rays improves the heat efficiency applied on tissues below the skin’s surface, lessening the risk of skin burns and irritations.
8. Far Infrared Rays heat is an affective agent in reducing cellulite and may be used as means of losing weight. Because it speeds up blood circulation, it has the ability to simulate a full-body work out without the physical demands of exercising.
9. Far Infrared Rays heat locally heats the muscles and tissues and may be used for pre-activity warm up, effective for athletes and performers who need the extra physical boost.
10. Far Infrared Ray heats the muscle fibers, reducing soreness on nerve endings and muscle spasms. This has been shown to be beneficial for people who train and exercise vigorously and suffer from delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS).
Benefits of Far Infrared Therapy A natural pain relief
Heat therapy using far infrared technology provides a wide range of benefits to health. FIR therapy can help treat a variety of diseases. Far infrared heat has been observed to enhance the functions of white blood cells, which in turn increases the body’s immune response and ability to eliminate foreign pathogens and metabolic wastes.
Far infrared therapy is an alternative way of getting natural pain relief, as it facilitates recovery from muscle sprains and other injuries. Far infrared heat can stimulate short-term inflammations, which is a necessary process to heal injuries such as a pulled muscle. Many studies have indicated that FIR therapy provides significant, natural pain relief from various ailments including arthritis, compression fractures, muscular tensions, sciatica, soft tissue injuries and many others.
Its quick-acting ability to improve circulation of blood deep in the tissues makes far infrared therapy an effective means for fast detoxification through sweating. Far infrared is also able to improve circulation of the lymph system, which accelerates the removal of accumulated toxins. Aside from facilitating detoxification processes, the improved circulation of blood enhances the delivery of oxygen, water, and vital nutrients to the body’s soft tissue areas. The increased volume of sweating and detoxification is also thought to promote weight loss.
FIR therapy also improves the functioning of the hypothalamus, the gland that secretes hormones involved in biological processes governing sleep, mood, and blood pressure. This produces a calming effect on the body and mind, and helps lower the level of stress hormones.
Safety of Far Infrared Therapy
Many people have wondered about the safety of far infrared therapy. The general consensus is that FIR therapy is safe even for fragile patients. Patients under treatment for advanced heart disease at the Mayo Clinic showed significant reductions in blood pressure and more regular heartbeats within a few days after starting FIR therapy. If one is just starting FIR therapy, it is important, of course, to follow safety precautions as with any new procedure.
As well, you should never forget to replenish nutrients lost by the body because of increased perspiration. Aside from water, you will need to replenish electrolytes and minerals.
Magnet Therapy Improve circulation and oxygen levels
Until today, humanbeen have found an extensive range of magnetic therapy products that may help with improved circulation and oxygen levels, assisting with pain relief to the areas of the body that need it. For hundreds of years people have used magnetic therapy. Today even professional athletes rely on magnetic therapy products. Proponents of magnetic therapy also believe that magnets might help reduce symptoms for those who suffer from arthritis, fibromyalgia, and depression; and may be useful in treating other medical problems as well.
For those unfamiliar with magnet or magnetic therapy, here are useful answers to some common questions:
What is magnet therapy?
Magnet therapy is an alternative therapy in which magnetic fields are administered by the application of magnets to certain parts of the body. Magnet therapy has been promoted to diagnose and/or treat a variety of conditions and diseases including arthritis, cancer, circulatory disorders, diabetic neuropathy (nerve disease), fibromyalgia, inflammation, pain, rheumatoid arthritis, and stress. No scientific evidence confirms these claims, though anecdotal evidence suggests that some people do experience some pain relief from magnet therapy.
How does magnet therapy work?
According to Healthline Networks, two theories explain magnetic therapy. One maintains that magnets produce a slight electrical current. When magnets are applied to a painful area of the body, the nerves in that area are stimulated, thereby releasing the body\'s natural painkillers. The other theory states that when magnets are applied to a painful area of the body, all the cells in that area react to increased blood circulation, ion exchange, and oxygen flow to the area. Magnetic fields attract and repel charged particles in the bloodstream, increasing blood flow and producing heat. Increased oxygen in the tissues and blood stream is thought to make a considerable difference in the speed of healing.
What are the benefits of magnets and magnetic therapy?
Some of the benefits that magnetic therapy claims to provide include:
Reduction of swelling
Improved tissue alkalinization
More restful sleep
Increased tissue oxygenation
Relief of stress
Increased levels of cellular oxygen
Improved blood circulation
What are the risks?
No complications have been reported when used properly. However, some precautions should be taken. To be safe, DO NOT use magnets:
On the abdomen during pregnancy
When wearing a pacemaker, or any other implanted medical device, unless you check first with the manufacturer or your doctor
On an area of acute injury, such as a sprain
Within the same anatomical area when wearing a transdermal drug patch
On your abdomen for 60 to 90 minutes following meals
What products are available?
Magnetic fields, magnets, and magnetic devices are used to treat various physical and emotional conditions. These therapies are based on the premise that electrical activity exists in the body at all times, particularly as the heart beats or during bone production.
Heat Therapy Far Infared Ray for Pain Treatment
How is Heat Associated with Pain Treatment?
The human body can easily absorb far-infrared heat because of its deep penetrating ability. Studies show that infrared waves can actually penetrate up to 2-3 inches deep into muscular tissue and ligaments.
When far infrared heat penetrates through the skin into muscular tissue and ligaments, it transforms from light energy into heat energy. The thermal effect within the deep layers of tissues cause blood vessels in capillaries to dilate which improves blood circulation and promotes healing and wellness
The concept of heat therapy (also called thermotherapy) or heat application to alleviate bodily pain has been around since the dawn of early civilization. Even without the right knowledge of how heat therapy specifically impacts the body, our ancestors believed that it works because it effectively got rid of muscle pain.
Presently, with society’s advancements in the fields of science, medicine and technology, heat therapy has been developed and refined. It is proven to be the most effective way of soothing muscle spasms and is recommended by medical professionals. Further studies proved that some types of heat are more helpful in soothing muscle pain than others. Heat emitted by carbon or silicon semi-conductor fibers, for instance, produce Far Infrared Rays which is more effective than superficial heat produced by heated cloth, hot water bottles and instant hot packs.
Negative Ions What is the negative ions cloth
Negative Ions In Athletic Clothing
Consumers have been flooded with a new trend in products that use negative ions to improve everything from the air you breath, to how you blow dry your hair.
The latest item to hit the market is athletic clothing claiming to give you more energy.
We had two fitness experts slip on the shirts to see if negative ions gave them a more positive workout.
Terry Romero teaches both body pump and spin classes. Each week Stephanie Rahm cycles 30 miles and teaches 15 classes.
\"You always want a little more energy in your day especially when you work out.\" says Stephanie.
\"IonX\' Recovery Gear claims to do just that, give you more energy, just by wearing their clothes. So, Terry and Stephanie put the shirts to the test.
\"I felt a little more energy I felt really good,\" commented Stephanie.
Terry wasn\'t sure if the shirt gave her more energy but she loved its absorbency.
\"What I liked about it was the sweat didn\'t stay on you for some reason,\" said Terry.
Stephanie agreed, \"It feels different than a regular shirt.\"
\"Technology is actually changing the clothes that you wear to make your clothes smarter,\" says Hap Klopp of IonX. \"It gives you more energy, it allows you to workout for a longer period of time and then more importantly it allows you to recover much quicker.\"
According to studies done by Georgetown College the clothing increased measured energy by 2.7 percent.
\"Most athletes who are professional work a whole year to try and add one percent,\" explained Klopp.
So how can a shirt do all of this?
\"It\'s an electrical current and the positive ions that you have in your blood in a surplus are attracted by the negative ions in the fabric,\" replied Klopp.
It\'s similar to being in a thunderstorm or near a waterfall. The belief is negative ions from the water is attracted to the positive ions in your body, thus creating a feeling of energy.
Klopp says it\'s that \"feeling\" that may have helped 5 rugby teams who competed in the World Cup. \"South Africa which won it, Australia, Ireland, Scotland and Japan all wore it.\"
This controversy caused the losing teams to complain to the Anti Doping Council that the clothes gave those teams an unfair advantage.
\"The Doping Council said \"No, it works with body functions, it\'s beneficial,\" said Klopp.
Beneficial? What about realistic?
\"I think that it\'s too good to be true,\" said dermatologist Dr. Vic Narurkar. He says it\'s not easy for anything external to reach our muscles and bloodstream.
\"The skin is your natural barrier.\" And Dr. Narurkar added, \"I can\'t imagine how something over the counter can penetrate underneath the skin.\"
So maybe it\'s a placebo effect...maybe it\'s the negative and positive ions meeting...but for some athletes it\'s worth giving the clothing a spin.
\"It may give you more energy and honestly I think that\'s kind of cool,\" said Stephanie.
May News What is the Far Infared Therapy
What is F.I.R. Far Infrared Ray
Far iInfrared ray (FIR) is a spectrum of natural sunlight with a wavelength of 4 – 1000 microns. It is invisible to the human eyes.
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) pointed out that FIR with wavelength between 6 – 14 microns is capable of penetrating deep into the human body where they gingerly elevate the body temperature and generate resonance. It can accelerate metabolism, improve circulation and provide warmth.
Testing of Petatech® International Co., Ltd. products, performed by Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology, demonstrates that all of Petatech’s products generate the desired FIR with wavelength of between 6-14 microns.
